Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time 2021

Really smooth animation & amazing visuals but my least favorite Evangelion rebuild. This is purely personal, but I hated the whole idea of Rei having maternal feelings & wanting to be a mother (ew!) & the ending was just the WORST, in my opinion. Shinji & Mari together?seriously?? We all know it should've been Kaworu & Shinji. Also, the music wasn't even that good. Yes, I know such an unpopular opinion (wow)! Other than that, it was a decent, good movie just not how I had expected it to be after watching Evangelion 3.33 (the best Rebuild movie). Kinda depressing.

I didn't even know homoerotic movies could be made during this time period. Romantic at first & then it gets kinda sad. I felt pretty bad for Maurice during the majority of this film, but I also understood why Clive was denying his sexuality; the dude could've been imprisoned & his life ruined if people found out about his homosexual activities since it was the 1910s-20s. He had a look on his face in the last scene of the movie that could've been interpreted as worry, jealousy, or even regret. He was denied all the best, ultra-sex :(
