The Monkey 2025
A horror movie that understands the appeal of comedy in horror movies and does it in a campy, cheesy way that takes me back to older horror films in a very positive manner.
The plot definitely has it's boring moments, and some of the acting is whatever but the goofy scenes mesh insanely well with the tension the movie creates. A lot of shock value nothing really "scary" but it's very entertaining and knows exactly what type of movie it wants to be, and plays to that strength very well.

monster design is a little lame, but the overall way the movie is filmed is terrifying. the way the lighting is used really made me empathize with the MC in a super immersive way, makes the scenes feel super real and tensegreat movie!!
