  Marylin Monroe as the ditzy (but only when she wants) blonde bombshell and Jane Russell as the lustful brunette who has no shame or second-guessing in her sexuality is truly a winning combination. 

  Iconic music numbers. Stunning wardrobes and sets. Genuine laughs and a whole lot of chemistry between these two best friends made this a highly enjoyable watch for me. 

  Honestly, I could’ve done without the men in this film. All of them were whack and forgettable. Except for the little kid - he can stay.

  The first time I heard about this film was in the context of Arcade Fire and how apparently you could stream their new album (at the time) Reflektor with it and it supposedly sync up. Eight years after that release and here we are!
