There Will Be Blood 2007
This film is legendary. Day Lewis carries this movie and he's TERRIFYING. PT Anderson's direction and writing here is beautiful and the ending(although is not the full ending to the book he adapted it off of(Oil)) is still poingant and demonstrative of Daniel's transformation. Paul Dano steals the scene and ESPECIALLY with Day Lewis in them.

THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE FILM!!!
This film has everything that makes Tarantino a great screenwriter and filmmaker. Gore, violence, western aesthetics, an amazing whodunnit narrative, and iconic characters.
May I also remind you... THIS WAS FILMED ON A 70 MM ULTRA PANAVISION CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!

The Killer 2023
Great audio work, cool monologing, and nice use of the Smiths. Fassbender is doing a very good job playing the character. Although, the story is somewhat complicated to follow: the motivation of the character's actions throughout the plot are driven off of stakes that we never had time to explore, so we have to assume that this journey is important for the character. Other than that, it was pretty good:).
