Will need to watch it again before giving a detailed review, but 2 hours 45 minutes flies by in what I would consider to be Leo’s greatest performance alongside other impeccable characters. We see Tarantino with a new take on story development in a fictional hyperbole of true events. The number one complaint I’ve heard from people on this film is that it drags on too long and is too slow. Well I couldn’t disagree more. This film had a great balance between fun and excitement. And Margot fuckin’ Robbie... Maybe not Tarantino’s greatest film, but still a fantastic work.
This movie was brilliant, demonstrating the true artistry of the Beatles, which of course can never been done justice by recreation. I found the dialogue to be incredibly cheeky, yet not over the top nor corny. There were a few points where I thought the story was progressing in an odd or untimely manner, but that is to be expected with such a bizarre central concept. Nonetheless, for lifelong Beatles fans such as myself, expect to be entertained and uplifted.
