Rest in Peace, Lee Sun Kyun. His performance in this healing K-drama was one of my favorites of all time. He portrayed a deeply hurt yet quietly astute man who supported a troubled young woman, played by IU, through such humanity while also finding his own healing through her recognizing his virtuousness.

Korea has lost a beloved talent and gem that will forever be remembered, and I will never ever forget him.

still holds up as my favorite Jane Austen adaptation of Emma, each character is perfectly cast, especially Romola Garai, as Emma as she portrays her innocence, while being fiercely independent, self assured and generous, she overcomes her tendencies to be blindsided of others' intentions due to her own flawed perceptions of others. One of the few characters I have seen, that goes out of her way to correct her actions and ignorance, that just makes her loveable and human. George Knightley is such a good match/mentor for emma, my fav unproblematic couple!!

Initially i thought he was just a wanderer on a desert, who had no care in the world for anyone or wanted nothing to do with society , but instead it was because of pain and heartbreak. This film was surprisingly about family and human compassion with a loved one in this case to his estranged  8 year old son and ex wife.

I was touched by the main character, Travis because he was innocent and kind and quirky perhaps…

I had heard pretty disappointing reviews from this film so I wasn't expecting a lot from it, I just wanted to have a good time. In the contrary I liked it very much in the first half and it left me wondering why the critics hated it because it was really really great in term cinematography, and the seriousness it imposed to how the existence of superman is threatening to us in many ways since the rules made by us…
