The Royal Tenenbaums 2001
i first watched this a few years ago, i’m not sure but i think i got pizza hut and wasn’t in the frame of mind to watch it but this scene (spoilers) really stuck out to me, it’s so so so beautifully coloured and shot and when i first watch shocked me to my core. it shows a really interesting dynamic between family and growing up and going separate ways
id like to see Wes Anderson approach a more working class…

so beautifully shot, some great sets and scenes and a really amazing cast to me, padraic with sophie chapman with wreck it ralph and paddington, not to mention alyssa? i really liked the cast but it didn’t make me laugh at all, just made me sad about the brother/dog and i didn’t enjoy it that much unfortunately. i think it’s a film to rewatch in time and then “get it”
