    Finally got around to seeing this one. Continuing on the Paramount Presents line this is volume 43. This one surprised me a bit. It’s another courtroom thriller/mystery, but has an excellent twist to it all by the end.

    The movie follows a cocky attorney named Martin Vail (Richard Gere) who defends an altar boy named Aaron (Edward Norton) who is accused of murdering an archbishop. It soon becomes apparent there was perhaps someone else there at the murder scene.

    Didn’t quite hit the marks for me, but it got real close. I wasn’t digging this so much in the first half, but the second half almost got me sold until it has a bit of a messy climax overall. It’s shot well, but the movie has kind of a dark overall message about grief and regret.
