absolutely insane cinematography and art direction, colors popping, angles dutching, dollies zooming
the COMMUNITY of it all is so crucial
ending felt like a punch in the gut. the film does such a phenomenal job of creating this world and inviting the audience into the mundane and the pain that comes along with it
this had so much potential, beautiful acting, strong directing. i absolutely loved every bit in the first act. every element really brought us into Hazal’s world in skilled way.

Yeah so, Bella is not a woman with "childlike wonder" as I'm seeing in some reviews -- she IS a child.
This isn't even a denial of child sexuality, which obviously is natural but that's not the story that's being told. Instead of being empowering, Bella feels like a pedo male fantasy, a robotic NPC who experiences nothing but pleasure and is conveniently simple, unlike a grown woman. Because again, she is not that.
