I thought this would be an absolute home run for me, Friedkin directing, Peterson as the lead, and Dafoe playing antagonist. I’m really not sure why this did absolutely nothing for me. For every scene or moment that I really enjoyed, there would be two that would make me check out.
I’ll have to come back to this sometime just to see if it’ll click for me at another date.
