I wish I’d known about these incredible women before this movie. It’s a shame they aren’t more widely celebrated.
I have to admit, I never thought about how war time mail works, so this was eye-opening. I just wish the pacing of this movie was better and they showed more of the process to figure out how to sort the mail. It seemed like they were failing and suddenly they succeeded.
Overall, I think it’s a must-see if only because the 6888 women needed to be known and celebrated.
I really enjoyed this. It was exactly what I needed to take my mind off things. I thought Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx were great and I loved the song choices for the fight scenes. I would recommend this one.
This movie. I was riveted the whole time. Most dystopian movies I’ve seen are too far-fetched and I don’t believe they could ever actually happen. But not this one. I believe this one. This could happen. And it’s terrifying.
Watching this a week before the inauguration made it feel extra real.
I really like that it didn’t try to make big statements or overtly take sides. It just immersed you in the world and let you experience it for yourself.
I thought this would fill the Stranger Things void in my life during this endless wait for the final season but I was wrong.
Yes, it had Stranger Things vibes but like a very cheap knockoff. Also, was this made for children? Couldn’t be because it was full of needless and gross sex and rape jokes and racist stereotypes. Seriously, how did this script get approved?
The cast was cute though and I think they could have made a great film — with a better script and storyline.
