RIP Wings Hauser. Watched on Hoopla under the title “Blood Money” Probably should have watched a good movie to honor him more, like Vice Squad. Should have known when I saw Robert Z’Dar was in the credits that I was in trouble.

Has some wonderful schlocky moments. But it does peak in the opening where you get Fahey bring a hooker to a hotel room, repel down the side of the hotel while she bathes, sneak in a drug kingpins room via balcony, kills him by making him swallow a heart attack pill, and get back in time for her to not suspect a thing as she gets out of the tub eating an ice cream bar. Oh and he still pays her for the night despite not having sex because he's a gentleman.

It's declines from there but not much. Currently on Tubi.

I have distinct memories of two films from late at night on Cinemax that I could not place to any known movies, and this is one of them. I was randomly looking at movies on Tubi and playing the trailer unlocked ancient memories. The memories had felt like a fever dream but now having seen the movie I understand because it's such a disjointed movie. Just absolutely wild to find this movie like this.

    It's a weird attempt at parody…
