awe man this movie is just so tender?? theres a scene where faye describes sleepwalking and a dream she "never ended up waking from" and i feel like that describes kar-wai's reality really well. theres no real intensity (in a good way), even the beginning when theres drama and crime its muted by the busy streets (the motion blur was so cool btw) and constant movement. theres so much happening at the beginning it felt uncomfortable, but as the movie…
