So I watched this last night instead of going to sleep. And I think there was a YouTube video that I saw on my flatmate’s account that said it best.
This film belongs in the 2010s.
Uglies is a perfect example of Hunger Games and the Divergent trilogy done well. The latter of those examples being the books that destroyed this genre of book and film.
Whilst this film wasn’t terrible by any means, it suffers greatly because of Divergent.…
