Everyone praising this for bringing erotic films back needs to take a moment and reevaluate what they think of as erotic film making. They somehow made kink un-kinky, took character inspiration from my ex-boyfriend, and limited Nicole Kidman to ONE facial expression. Too many of the sex scenes were montages and the music was never fitting—the sexy scenes weren't even given a moment and there was no space for tension to build. Actually disappointed.
