Jodorowsky's Dune 2013
Some call Jodorowkys Dune among the greatest films never made. I am not among them. To me this project was an impossible dream. But that is also in retrospect absolutely beside the point.

It felt good to be back in the Weyland-Yutani universe. It mostly nailed the look and sound. Tense and nasty when it needs to be. Personally I didn't find the callbacks forced in any way, I thought they were introduced quite organically.

First rewatch in many many years. I still remember the feeling I had coming out of the cinema after seeing it for the first time. I felt confused, dazed… but in a good way.
