watching genuinely deeply horrible people be horny for each other and displaying just about zero empathy or care beyond winning and tennis was extremely stressful and I just wanted it to stop

The cast was great, but that's about the only strength of the movie. Edgar Wright's attempt at a feminist agenda is a massive miss. It feels like it's trying really hard to be very girlhood girl's girl girl power but made by a white man, and since the main plot of the movie is rooted in an issue the director has no understanding of it's hard to see the point of the movie at all.
