The Wolf of Wall Street 2013
Absolute fucking peak. Nearly three hours of shit talking, random sex, angry egotistical cocky men and illegal business. It’s hard for a film of this length to keep someone interested the whole way through but they’ve done it here PERFECTLY. In terms of how it’s made, the colouring beautiful, the set design (especially of their mansion) is perfect, characters were written in a way where you just can’t get yourself to hate them, despite how incredibly stupid and bad they are. I don’t think there’s a single thing I could complain about in this film. Deserves 5/5.

I mean it wasn’t HORRIBLE. I think the plot has some serious potential (and it kinda reminds me of maze runner) but the acting and pacing ruins it, there’s nothing I hate more than rushed relationships in films which is obviously what happens between Tally and David. The scenes with those flying hoverboards are pretty badly done and just look completely unnatural. I’m giving this two and a half because I’m sure if this was done correctly it would be a successful film but there’s definitely things that could’ve been better.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004
I didn't think I'd like this movie at first. It was confusing, oddly paced and I felt all over the place. As the movie went on I fucking fell in love with it. The passion of Joel, the Charisma of Clem is insane. The soundtrack is perfect and I think the fact it felt like a short film at first added to the essence of it. I got so into this film I think I may have derealised but god it's just amazing. I can definitely see myself watching this over and over and over again.

people who rated this movie 1 star do not get it and that's okay 🥰 I LOVED THIS MOVIE it's so beautifully sad, i had to sit down afterwards and think about how i really can't save anyone and i have to live with that realisation now. ANYWAYS it's a great movie. i love it. watch it for a good cry
