    Thoughtful, creative and, although the term is overused, genuinely powerful. Beautifully shot, acted, directed, written and scored. The first part and epilogue border on flawless while the second part, post the much-appreciated intermission, labours slightly under the morbidity of the film’s themes, as if too absorbed in its own ideas. Tonally, this does produce (moderate) inconsistency and frustration. 

    Still, it is the first cinematic experience in a while that has left me with much to contemplate. 

    Strong 8.5-9/10.

    Dune Part II remains the best film of 2024.

    Far From Home is technically, as far as I’m concerned, a bad film.
    Although the performances are strong and the direction is reasonably good, there is nothing substantial that upgrades the film from anything more than a footnote in the "Infinity Saga."

    Both the Macro Elements and the Micro Elements are not where they should be for a film of such a budget and with such promising and popular elements.
