  I dislike quite a lot of things about this movie and frankly I didn't get the added value of the whole horror element (which was basically the entire movie since the genre is horror). In fact, the whole plot felt kind of dumb and fabricated. At least the movie contains some interesting ideas and dialogue about sex/pornography/autonomy?

  Also good and old-school shots, editing, cinemtography. I guess the genre just isn't my thing apart from a few exceptions.

  Ik had het gevoel dat de film probeerde feministisch te zijn, maar dit eigenlijk niet is. Op het eerste oog lijkt het misschien zo omdat het een vrouwelijke CEO is die een affaire begint met een mannelijke intern, dus stereotypische rollen worden omgekeerd. Maar uiteindelijk blijkt dan toch weer dat de vrouw, zelfs de vrouw met macht, een stiekeme fantasie heeft om submissive te zijn en erop geilt om verteld te worden wat te doen.

  The movie felt overly commercial. Like a big advertisement for Lego. Or Pharrell Williams himself. Or perhaps both. They almost exclusively showed moments of success, placing blame on external factors for any downturn in his career, and there was a lack of self-reflection or criticism throughout the film. Nearly every moment of self-reflection or emotional scenes were tied to this space metaphor of how we're all so small in the grand scheme of things etc. It didn’t feel sincere, making…
