    Marvel played it very safe with this one, and yet, it still disappoints. The excessive exposition feels almost offensive in how it underestimates the audience’s ability to comprehend. Suspension of disbelief is stretched way too thin with some of the choices they made. Several good characters were set up, only to be wasted in a lackluster, middle-of-the-road MCU flick. However, I enjoyed Carl Lumbly and Anthony Mackie; their relationship was the highlight for me. And to my surprise, Harrison Ford didn't phone in an MCU appearance, he was good in this.
