I get some people's frustration with this movie, saying it's overhyped, etc. Cuz I could kinda agree?? I think what actually made The Philadelphia Story unforgettable is the casting, not the story itself. Cuz Jimmy, Cary and Katherine - are you kidding me??

What really stood out for me (and I didn't notice anyone mentioning it before!) was the cinematography. The visuals, location, camera movements were so pleasant to my eye. I catched myself watching and being like: my goodness, it's so pretty!!

It's my first watch of It's a wonderful life and definitely not the last one. Cuz it's a wonderful movie.

Emotional changes I went through while watching this masterpiece are indescribable. If I cry during a movie, it automatically gets 5 stars.

    James Stewart outdid himself. Wow.

Kinda wished to see our angel with wings. But that's okay.

(I think what had to be said about this movie, has already been said, so I'm not gonna repeat other reviews.)

Interesting fact, as an early Hitchcock work, The Lady Vanishes combines mystery with humor. Hitchcock did it again with his last movie, Frenzy, where he mixed comedy and tragedy.
I absolutely adore films that take place in a train. Dunno why, but this location gives any movie extra points from the start.
The plot was suprisingly pretty tangled up, cast amazing and main characters relationship... pure pleasure. Loved it SO much.
