I'm so obsessed with this movie. Couldn't stop thinking about it so had to re-watch it immediately. Always thought what can Miyazaki say with a movie featuring a pilot pig. But every aspect of this work is so beautifully crafted. It has so many moments that might be my all time favourite Gibli montages/scenes. The beautiful intro to Gina; Porco refusing to get into the ego battle; Gina's flashback to their childhood; Marco's experience of 'heaven'; The overall melancholic feel;…
