Brilliant show! Seriously. Reminiscent of the Netflix shows like Daredevil (who makes a proper appearance btw - not like the crappy, played-for-laughs appearance in She Hulk). Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) is here too - and just as good as you remember him. Echo (Alaqua Cox) herself is a revelation. The story is told over 5 episodes which probably don't amount to much more than a long film if it's all put together. Do yourself a favour. Watch Echo. You won't regret it.

If you're looking for a perfect example of "style over substance" you won't go far wrong with Rebel Moon. For those of you old enough to remember it - it's basically "Battle Beyond the Stars" - but with an actual budget. It's as derivative as it's possible to be while still purporting to be "original". This isn't a story. A story needs progression. You need to go from one state of affairs to a different state of affairs via change of some type. This could be summed up as "a drunk decides to drink himself to death. So he does." That's not a story. It's a statement. This was nihilistic garbage. As a less painful alternative you could stick red hot needles in your eyes for about 2 hours - and you'd probably still enjoy it more than this tripe. You have been warned. Leave Leaving Las Vegas Alone.

About me: I will watch any superhero/comic book movie and, usually, find the positives. I don’t find many superhero/comic book movies that are that bad to be honest. For context – I liked Halle Berry’s Catwoman. I really enjoyed Black Adam. I thought Morbius was a good, standard, superhero/anti-hero movie. I even thought Justice League was OK. But this … this is just complete and utter shite. I like Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. I do! I enjoyed the first…
