Superb filmmaking, writing, and acting. It just gets better the more I think about it, with such a rich tapestry of characters and beautiful themes of faith, progress, and what it takes to make a great, forward-thinking leader.
Side note: my take on awards is that they don’t mean much in the long run…but it’s still a head-scratcher that this got so little recognition (outside of the BAFTAs). Time will be really kind to it, though, and I think it’ll get even more love and respect in the coming years.
