If not for the uninteresting villains, this could’ve been a 4.5. I went into this film dreading it, because I over-watched it as a child but it’s held up quite well surprisingly. Despite the uncannyness I’m actually quite fond of the animation. The voice-acting is great, Chris Evans is unnoticeable. The atmosphere of this world is beautifully gritty & grimy. I like the soundtrack, & the portrayals. The highlight is obviously the fight between Raph & Leo, phenomenal storytelling 🐢

Mickey 17 2025
An interesting movie, to say the least. The cinematography was real good. Not a single bad shot, in all honesty. The atmosphere made through the soundtrack is phenomenal too, very unique. It feels similar to Snowpiercer in some aspects. Robert Pattinson’s performance was so unbelievably good though. He was easily the highlight of this film. Sir Joon Ho provides an important overarching message through the vast majority of his films, with Mickey 17 being of no exception. Overall, 3.75/5 (+.25 cinema tax)
