  I need two viewings to fully understand and appreciate the beauty of this movie and Kevin Costner’s admirable labor of love. It’s not Costner’s fault that I needed two viewings. It’s my Tiktok, streaming brain that needs adjusting. I haven’t been to theatre in so long. And full disclaimer, I’m a HUGE Costner fan. So I was too busy waiting for Costner to show up rather than immersing myself in the movie.

  Decided to watch this after so many people were recommending me to watch after "Parasite". Song Kang Ho's acting in this movie made me think he's the Tom Hanks of South Korea.

  Robert Montgomery was once quoted claiming that this movie was his best out of all of the movie he's done. And I couldn't agree with him more. Bob played a mad conflicted murderer in this movie. I have pretty much seen all of his movies from the 30s and I have to say that I always have respect for him as an actor despite the heavy typecasting that he was under. But this movie completely elevates my respect for him…
