  As Eugénie said, "merci," the intro of Méditation by Thaïs begins. Dodin started to reach her hands and kissing them, the first note of the piano drops. It's the piano version of Méditation, and I often listen to the violin version, a piece that I am very familiar and fond of. It's the first time I've ever heard this version on a piano, ethereal and divine, along with the imagery of two lovers sunbathed by the summer sun sitting there…

  Tri yang paling berdedikasi buat jaga dan bantu ibunya di masa tua, malah paling dianggap sebelah mata sama semua saudaranya, kelihatan dari percakapan mereka. Kelihatan juga dari cara mereka memperlakukan Tri. Dia yang ngebantu mereka semua mindahin lemari dan bahkan udah beliin bensin, tapi semua saudaranya pergi gitu aja tanpa pamitan sama dia.   Simply one of the best courtroom dramas. Somehow reminds me of Witness for the Prosecution, but La Verite is more serious and bitter. Not only depicted the trial room atmosphere successfully, but La Verite also explores the dark lethal side of suicide and love. We learn about Bardot's character and her past life in the courtroom.
