The Secret of Moonacre 2008
After rewatching this movie as an educated grown up, I can give it 2.5 as a whole because the acting and script and editing is just kind of atrocious. But if I were to watch it just for the aesthetics (which are gr8) and remembered thrills it would be a solid 4.5 because sometimes it doesn’t matter if a movie is Very Good to my adult intellectual sensibilities, it matters that it was weirdly, off-kilterly and supremely satisfying to my young kid self. Which somehow feels important. Anyway, 10/10 for the piano duets and Robin’s eyeliner
