This might be the reason why I felt that the human story was dwarfed when compared to the epic world building and overall theme this film had to offer. This movie was so fun, lighthearted, and sincere enough to win me over. Tom Hardy killed it as well as all the other actors on the screen. It didn’t try to be something that it wasn’t. It was the perfect length. At 90 minutes, it moves briskly and swiftly. The movies familiar enough, but with the sincerity and brevity it makes ticket purchase well worth it.
The Eternals is a steaming pile of doggie Doodoo. I sat watching some of the most beautiful actors that ever graced the silver screen, while wondering why I felt absolutely no attachment to these characters whatsoever. I felt the exposition laborious. I cringed at some of the special effects. Especially our proxy superman flying, as well as the weightlessness of Thena.
