  this movie was definitely made to be seen on imax, i get it. definitely improved the watching experience for me, and while just as underwhelming as always (compared to how this movie sat in my mind as a child), it's a clear evolution from the first, and i can appreciate that. the more minimalist, artsy aspects of this film reign supreme, however, in stark contrast to the comic book maximalism of the batman.

  god the mood, atmosphere, and tone of this movie is so much better than the dark knight, i'm sorry. has the same orange glow that the batman does, with the tinge of nolan realism. works extremely well.

  michael haneke is one director that I have not explored yet, and when I read the plot of funny games, I knew I had to watch it. and that’s when I fell in his “trap”. after watching this I was a little lost as to what the point of this movie was, but after reading reviews on letterboxd about it, I think I get it.
