Cinematography was amazing (chef’s kiss to split diopter shots), but that’s about it for me. The plot although was interesting, but it was too predictable and sometimes goofy. And the soundtrack was like a laughing cue on when and how to react. The ending scene would pack a bigger punch if I cared for the characters, but I didn’t because of the archetypical type of characters. They lacked any depth, especially the love interest of the protagonist. She was dumber than dumb. Anyways, a lot of rambling but a good movie nevertheless.

Lost Highway 1997
This movie is like a puzzle. If you watch closely, it will click for you in the end. Just like dreams. Dreams contain the subconscious desires, fears and alter-egos that we fear to confront. Just like Mulholland Drive, David Lynch shows a little bit of reality and most of the inner psyche of the main protagonist through their dreams. It’s like peeking in someone else’s dream. Beautiful and inspiring to look at. Surreal imagery is oozing from every scene and always keeps you guessing on what is going to happen next. RIP to the maestro. You are dearly missed.
