The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou 2004
My least favorite film from Wes Anderson. Major conflict was visible from 10 miles away in a sandstorm. Solid cast with weak performances. Story was choppy. Bill Murray was a tool, not a single redeeming quality that made you feel for him. He was clearly struggling mentally, and I can sympathize. But he just wasn’t a likable guy. Owen Wilson was a weak supporting actor. Couldn’t get into the film. Cool set pieces, but that’s a given with Anderson. Wouldn’t watch again, and would recommend to anybody. Don’t waste your time.
