A very topical film (not only because it seems a conclave is impending) with a powerful message I recommend everyone watches. Instead of pointing fingers of blame at others we should look within and reflect, through prayer, meditation or whatever other method suits you.
Beautifully filmed, the costumes and colours are breathtaking. The story is easy to follow even though it depicts a process steeped in tradition. All performances are great, Ralph Fiennes particularly shines.
Great movie for anyone complaining there are too many sex scenes in new movies.
