I was gonna give this a 4 cuz it’s genuinely just such a fun time. But the CGI in the last half an hour of the film was hard to watch to be honest. Overall tho I don’t know why these get so much hate they are just so fun.

Surf's Up 2007
Each time I see this movie I’m not only reminded how fantastic it is. But I also learn new lessons that I may have missed previously.
Cody loves surfing but because he finds his normal life unfulfilling. And because of this surfing ends up becoming so much more than a passion. It’s a sport, it’s competitive it’s corporatized and commodified and Cody sees it as his way out and has a lot of his ego wrapped up in it.
