I would like to start by saying I loved the interpretation of this movie with the internalized beauty standard in women and ageism being portrayed this way. but also what the actual fuck did I just watch. i can handle gore but i even needed to look away a couple of times. would recommend but don’t plan on eating while watching!

I LOVE THIS MOVIE OKAY. I read the book first and then the movie. and wow i recommend both so hard. they are the same but different. the movie is heavier on the romantic theme more than the book. but both perspectives turned out so well. had to deep dive theories and themes after reading/watching.
