The Iron Claw 2023
Unsettling and Tragic - 4.5 Stars
Almost like a Shakespeare tragedy in modern times. This movie was deeply unsettling, even knowing the story beforehand. The Von Erich family’s stardom turns to tragedy, when the father’s obsession places the Von Erich brothers into their own isolated states. Kevin, played by Zac Efron, our lead, was fantastic at displaying the raw emotional journey and mental turmoil that is associated with the “Von Erich Curse” aka “Crazy Dad Curse”. Anybody that’s a fan of sports movies and tragedies, I highly recommend The Iron Claw.
