  Not much I can add that hasn’t already been said by countless others. A perfect film that bottles up the feeling of the edges of romance into an hour and a half. So close but yet so far away.

  Lived up to the hype for sure. I’m not a big period piece fan but man this was good. 

  Loved the dialogue. Makes you realize how trash things like Bridgerton are in comparison.

  A 2nd viewing will be needed to fully wrap my head around this one. 

  That being said, wow. Insane performances from Brody, Jones, and Pearce. Also one of the best scores of the year. 

  Shoe in for winning cinematography at the Oscars along with editing. Plus this was made for $10 million somehow. 

  Very hard to pin down or categorize. So many different themes and ideas that the film presents. Ambitious in every sense of the word.
