Willow 1988
Rewatched Willow with my wife, who was born in 1990 and so has never seen it before. It hold sup so well--even the keying effects and stop motion look charming, not jarring. The swordplay is first rate, the cast is charming--including impressionist Kevin Pollak as one of the Brownies. It's a shame they didn't explore this world further in film (there are sequel novels written by X-Men scribe Chris Claremont, but books are for NERRRRDS).
