    While I think that the narratives are interesting and well told, I think this is a pretty poorly made Olympic documentary. It’s too constrained to its format, tells too much backstory, and doesn’t cover enough ground. 
    In my opinion, these Olympic documentaries could do more with telling us stories about the games rather than stories about the athletes—I’d love to know the details about how these games happened, what they built, what worked, the effects, but we’ll never get that.

    I found this film just to keep dragging on. I thought the rank sequence was the most interesting and entertaining, but I couldn’t believe we had more still after that.
