Warfare 2025
Spectacular filmmaking and cinematography here. But, since the story and characterization were so shallow, I found it to be very meh. It just kind of happened. Not that I needed much backstory, but were there relationships here could’ve made it hit harder when the horrors of this war come in? I didn’t feel I got that here. It could’ve thrived on that memory aspect to these real life people. Great filmmaking, but nowhere near as complex as some of Alex Garland’s previous works.
