  A charming film that feels pulled straight from the 70s (the retro title cards at the start are clearly trying to evoke this, and I would say the pacing of the film and cinematography then deliver on this promise). Great performances all around, and just a pleasant way to spend a few hours

  I went into this without having seen the original. It was surprisingly well made, and a number of interesting set pieces. The songs were forgettable though, and the actual plot felt very thin.
