The movie really leans into how stupid it is, which is a perk. Very funny, though not the funniest of Will Ferrell’s movies. Also I don’t think it makes much sense for him and Reese Witherspoon to end up together in the end. Cute post-credit scenes tho. Also the gen Z humor wasn’t unbearable like it is in other movies. A recommended watch from me.

Kingsman: The Secret Service 2014
This movie was what it was. I didn’t wow me much, but it did keep me entertained for its duration. Neither good nor bad in my opinion. It’s an action movie and it delivers on that promise with plenty of action. Something to turn on when nothing else is on.

Spotlight 2015
Perhaps one of my favorite movies of all time. It influenced me wanting to become a journalist, and despite its sometimes slow-moving nature, it is a fantastic retelling of real events that had major impacts on the Catholic Church. Every actor in this film brought their A-games to work with them. So amazing.
