This was. Interesting. Not for me I this, but a tremendous achievement for an independent team. It’s beautifully animated, and visually stunning, and I absolutely get the praise for TV is being a film made for a small budget, independently, in blender. That being said- I have no connection to the story and am leaving this just… confused? I’m picking out some vague meaning here and there but I honestly just feel like I watched 90 minutes of very pretty…

WOW so I just watched this for the first time and man.
You can feel the heart put into this film in every line of dialogue, shot choice, and stroke of gorgeous animation in it. A touching and intriguing story combined with some of the most stunning visuals I’ve ever seen in a movie make for something I think every animation (and tbh probably film!) fan should see. (And that’s not even mentioning the absolute banger of a soundtrack and score).
And bring tissues. Lol.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2023
This was an unmitigated disaster. Like genuinely what happened I have so many criticisms I can’t even list them. Just HOW do you fuck up this bad with this source material.
1.5 stars for the Henson Company, (Animatronics looked fantastic), and for the hysterical laughter in my theater both from shouting references and just laughing so hard at how awful this was.
(also the credits song does slap but the way it doesn’t even hit after the ATROCITY that is this film)
