  There's an old school Hollywood feel to this one, letting Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett just rip with expert level performances. It's neatly compact at 90 minutes. Swift dry humor. All of the above makes this oddly refreshing in 2025's movie landscape.

  Sweet sci-fi satire.

  I really appreciated the small detail of Mickey stuttering as he comes out of the human printing tube–such a subtle, clever touch. I'm not usually a fan of voiceovers (there's a lot here), but it adds a surprisingly personal layer to some endearing moments. The whole thing is a fun vehicle to explore hefty moral questions about humanity.

  Mark Ruffalo kind of steals the show as a narcissistic, self-absorbed politician who takes his followers to space. The future has never felt more like the not-so distant present.
