  So in the first 15 minutes I realized this is a true remake of “Yojimbo” by Kurosawa, immediately you catch up on that vibe. After watching I found that this is considered an unofficial remake for it. I think having watched Yojimbo only last month and absolutely loving it actually lowered my experience with this film, just because Yojimbo did every aspect of this story better.   I have wanted to watch this for quite some time, and I am so glad it was everything that I hoped for. How intricate the sets were, and the sheer quality and quantity of costumes throughout was incredible. It really makes me appreciate just how much effort one can put into a singular work like a movie, which may be a connection to the very same tenacity of Mozart displayed in the film.   This is probably the most unique film I have ever watched. Straight from the beggining the editing and effects are so captivating and fun. I have never seen this “style” of movie and makes it so entertaining. But then, it's like this flip to more horror elements and how they do it actually can be unsettling at moments. It's just really great to see a movie as abnormal as this one and to see just how creative some directors can be with unusual storytelling.
