TW: Rape, crooked cops, batpat’s southern accent
Umm, this movie was pretty fucked up.. Was Pennywise crucifying the dog really necessary?

It’s refreshing to see a Guy Ritchie flick reminiscent of his earlier films. Spent the first 30 minutes trying to figure out if Matthew McConaughey was attempting a British accent, then realized he was just using his normal voice whilst inserting British lingo. Tried to keep a tally, but ultimately lost count of the amount of times the word “cunt” was used. It was a fun waste of time.

Generally I'm not into musicals, but this movie never fails to captivate me. Emma Stone/Ryan Gosling are very charming in their respective roles and I could not think of a better duo. I hated to see the split, but loved how the "what could have been" sequence was handled. Hoping Damien Chazelle can keep the streak going 🤞
