This is one of those movies that unlocks a flood of good memories you didn’t know you still had. Even with a no-name voice cast, Rescue Heroes over delivers on the action, the heart, and the soul that every 10 year old boy desires. Unfortunately, I could not give this a five star review because the animation does not age well. But if you can look past that, you better buckle up because you’re in for one of the greatest children’s story ever told.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes 2024
I’m not sure if this was a story that needed to be told. Don’t get me wrong, it was amazing action and great visuals… but felt like a copy + paste from ‘War For The Planet Of The Apes’. The Apes get captured then need to escape. In spite of the unoriginal story, it still kept me on my toes and shocked me at times. And of course, you can’t have an Apes movie without a couple sad death scenes that they did really well. In summary, it was a fun watch, but not something that I will rush back to see again.

Not only is this movie one of the greatest conclusions to a 3-movie story, but it’s also the finale to one of the greatest characters in both TV and movie history: Darth Vader. It doesn’t get a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because how were the emperor’s best troops bested by teddy bears 😂? But a 4.5/5 because man, it’s a fantastic conclusion and satisfying ending.
