The Proposal 2009
Pretty fun movie! Reminded me of The Holiday in terms of its witty and wacky stereotypes and slapstick humor layered on top of somewhat complex romantic dilemmas. It didn’t take itself too seriously which I liked, however I felt that the overall plot arc was very foreseeable at the start of the movie, and the cliche get-her-back at the end dragged the movie a bit. Stacked cast, good scenery, and good pacing. Would watch again, but definitely better movies of the same genre/feeling that I would jump at recommending ahead of this one. 3/5

Easy A 2010
Been seeing this one in my watchlist for a while. While at first the movie was hard to get used to, with it’s over the top dialogue and 22 year-old high schoolers. However, the overall message of this movie and the purpose of why it was made were really pure in my eyes. Me Before You 2016
Great emotion and a good representation of what actors can do to improve upon a relatively flat story. The way they conveyed their chemistry kept me engaged throughout. However, I am not one for the “annoying-boyfriend-gets-shoed-out” trope. Kinda took away from the romantic idea that the movie wanted us to believe in. 7 years together and she leaves him to sleep with her paralyzed boss? Not really grounds for a feel good story once you strip the warm lights, funny…
