  Halle Berry is amazing. The story wasn’t. Sorry but if the message was that racist white men can stop being racist as soon as they see an objectively attractive black woman then what are we doing here? A film certainly not ahead of its time.

  I haven’t seen The Brutalist so I can’t pass judgment but Adrien Brody’s performance must have been fucking good if Colman Domingo was barely even considered for the Oscar. Like seriously. And did the academy just forget about Clarence Maclin? That man isn’t even a proper actor ffs. A touching film with an outstanding message.
